Fragile X Care | Adults & Ageing is the first Australian study on the support needs, health & wellbeing of adults with Fragile X syndrome as they age, particularly those in residential care / group home settings.

We’re working towards developing a free blended learning program for disability support and aged care teams to bolster understanding of supporting adults with Fragile X syndrome as they age. The program will include

online learning modules covering the neurobiology of Fragile X syndrome, daily living supports, behaviours, co-occurring presentations and care recommendations including downloadable factsheets & flyers and links for further learning

* access to webinars and video recordings on supports for adults with Fragile X syndrome, led by health professionals

* online Community of Practice

If you’d like more information about resources on supporting adults with Fragile X syndrome or have questions, please subscribe to our Fragile X Care | Adults and Ageing News updates or get in touch with us at support@fragilex.org.au or 1300 394 636

We’re undertaking this study in collaboration with Centre for Disability Studies, an affiliate of the University of Sydney.  The study is supported by a philanthropic grant from The Henroth Group.
