SENSORY PROCESSING AND FRAGILE X SYNDROME (FOR FAMILIES/CARERS)

May 24th, 2022

With Bev Kadish, occupational therapist, from a webinar recording, 24 May 2022.

In this presentation Bev covers the role Sensory Processing plays in daily life and how the sensory processing disorders some people with Fragile X syndrome experience can impact behaviour. Bev addresses  strategies to help give the person who has Fragile X the best chance to feel calm, alert and organised as a result of appropriate sensory input.

The presenter Beverley Kadish has many years of experience in supporting children and adults who have Fragile X syndrome, both through the Fragile X Alliance clinic in Melbourne and her own private practice WriteStart OT.
