Dr Marcia Braden PhD on Females and Fragile X syndrome, video recording from March 2020.

Dr. Marcia Braden discussed the challenges of caring for adult males with Fragile X syndrome as they age.  Dr Braden presents strategies for encouraging the independence and goes on to discuss: supports which take into account the neurobiology of Fragile X syndrome and the consequent developmental delays that will affect daily living; and environmental accommodations that will help the adults successfully participate in work, volunteering and in their community.

Dr Marcia Braden PhD is a psychologist, educator and specialist in Fragile X syndrome.
The video was supported by a grant from the Qantas Foundation Side by Side Grant Program.
