Girls and women who have Fragile X syndrome are affected differently than boys who have Fragile X. The strengths, challenges, and deficits which they often encounter are best supported with specific understanding and strategies.

Dr Braden highlights the impact of the anxiety associated with Fragile X syndrome and how it presents at different developmental levels. She talks about learning deficits which can be a challenge for girls and women who have Fragile X syndrome and presents practical strategies which will support successful learning, daily living skills and relationship development.

Dr Marcia Braden PhD, is a psychologist, educator and specialist in Fragile X syndrome.
