Creating Social Stories

March 1st, 2022

Bev Sher, speech and language pathologist, webinar recording 1 March 2022.

Social stories are important tools for supporting communication and daily living. They can help a person with Fragile X syndrome to reduce their anxiety levels, and help them with practising appropriate social interactions, making transitions, learning new skills, and understanding behaviours.
This session covered * What makes a successful social story * How to craft your own * Apps & other useful tools.

Speech and language pathologist Bev Sher joined our FX webinar series in March 2022 to share her experience in creating and using social stories. Bev has years of experience in supporting individuals with Fragile X syndrome, through the Fragile X Alliance Clinic in Melbourne and her own private practice.
