Karen is a qualified veterinarian who currently works in the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to moving into industry Karen worked as a veterinarian in small animal practices both in the UK and in Australia. Karen has the Fragile X pre-mutation. She is passionate about raising awareness of Fragile X and the premutation amongst the medical profession, and was re-appointed to the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 19 November 2023. Karen lives in Sydney.

This is the first Australian study on the support needs, health & wellbeing of adults with Fragile X syndrome as they age.
