Belinda has two young boys with Fragile X syndrome and lives in Sydney. She is a registered Chartered Accountant, although not currently practising since the boys’ diagnosis.  Belinda has commenced an Occupational Therapy degree course as she wants to help her sons and other families on the Fragile X journey and has also recently started an online business.

Belinda says she is extremely passionate about raising awareness of Fragile X syndrome and keen to support the Fragile X community. Belinda has been involved with FXAA since her boys’ diagnoses in early 2020.  Belinda has fundraised for FXAA  is committed to representing FXAA at a range of disability expos.  Belinda was re-appointed to the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 19 November 2023.
