This workshop provides a unique opportunity for families, carers, and health and education professionals to learn more about the latest thinking on:

    • The reasons behind the behaviours typical of many children with Fragile X syndrome or autism
    • The benefits of a behaviour management plan that can be used by everyone working with children with Fragile X syndrome
    • The issues to consider when developing a behaviour management plan
    • Communicating the Fragile X way
    • How sensory processing affects behaviour
    • The importance of creating an environment that supports positive learning
    • Teaching methods and strategies that really work for children with Fragile X syndrome
