About our Support
We offer support to our members in various different ways. As well as offering emotional support through information, advice and by connecting our members, we provide information on Fragile X itself. At present we achieve this through:
- Telephone support and information from our central organization – please see our Contact Page for details.
- Various support and information services provided by our state based volunteer support groups.
- Producing booklets, articles and a lending library. Our Resource Page contains details of these.
- Quarterly newsletters which are also published in the Newsletter section of this site.
- Conferences, seminars, events, social gatherings. These will be advertised in our newsletter and on the News Pages of this website.
- Arranging specialist and therapeutic services through Fragile X Clinics around Australia.
- This website which will keep you informed about Fragile X news and research worldwide and the activities of our Association and its state groups. Please read the Website – about page to find out how to get the most of this site.
To ensure that you are able to access our full services and to help us continue to provide the level of support necessary we advise that you become a member of the Association. More details on membership and an application form can be found on our Membership Page
