The Fragile X Association of Australia has received a request for parents of children with a disability to partake in an anonymous survey on the stress of looking after children with a disability. The survey will help to get your issues highlighted.

Dr David Hamilton and Gemma Fountain from the School of Psychology at Deakin University are conducting a study looking at stress and coping in parents of children with intellectual disability. They would also like to hear from parents who have a child with both intellectual disability and autism.
Information from the study will assist professionals to provide services that are more sensitive to the needs of families. Parents are invited to participate in the study by completing a questionnaire which will take approximately 60 minutes and be submitted anonymously, reply paid.
